Michele Rayneri, founder and Ceo of Blue Project, is an Italian racing driver and champion, expert sailor and marketing manager.
He made his debut in 1981 and in his long career has won many titles in rally and on track.
In 1982 he won the Italian National Rally Championship in Group A car Opel Kadett GTE; in 1985 he won the Europen Trophy and in 1987 he won the Italian Rally Championship on a Lancia Rally 037, prepared by the Tamauto team. At the end of the season, he beated by five points the other Lancia driver, Piero Liatti. In the 1988 season he competed in the European Rally racing on an Audi Coupé and Golf GTI.
He leaded the table in the first half of the season and finishes third. In 1989 he drove a Golf GTI on the track in CIVT (Italian Championship Tourism).
Five victories allowed him to win the CSAI Trophy and he is awarded to the best driver of the class A4.
He performed a pole position on a wet track at Misano Adriatico against cars of higher classes showing his sensivity and car control in wet conditions.
While reducing the commitment as a pilot just to some rallies, Michele Rayneri remains in the racing scene.
He works at Ferrari in the Marketing Office and organizes competition for Ferrari's customers: Ferrari Challenge, GT races, endurance and classic cars races.
Michele Rayneri has transfered his passion, know-how and experience for car racing into Blue Project creating a unique fleet and a racing team at sea of all respect.
